I see you.
I see you watching her.
I see you holding her.
I see you worried for her.
I see you trying to hold the pain in as she squeezes your hand tightly.
I see you supporting her, rubbing her back, all the while trying to stretch out yourself.
I see that you have aches and pains as well.
I see that you have been awake for 18 hours.
I see you whisper in her ear how much you love her and kiss her forehead.
I see how proud of her you are.
I see the excitement in your eyes as it is finally time to push.
I see you coaching her.
I see you breathing with her.
I see you counting in your head.
I see the smile on your face as you first see the top of your baby's hairline.
I see you say, "I can see the baby's head, you're so close!"
I see your guilty face when your wife tells you to stop saying that after 2 hours of pushing.
I see you care of her.
I see you pray for her.
I see your tears as you first see your brand new baby.
I see her tears as she watches you hold your brand new baby.
I see you become a dad.
I see your mind think of the future.
I see you fall in love with your partner all over again.
